The first Marks & Spencer store in Timisoara opened in the Iulius Town joint project!

A dedicated team of 17 fashion consultants and specialists await clients in the commercial space of over 1,000 square meters, which includes all M&S clothing divisions: women’s, men’s, children’s and lingerie.

Voici la Mode, the owner of the Marks & Spencer franchise on the Romanian market, has invested in the new store about EUR 1 million, to which is added the stock of products worth EUR 0.5 million. “We are pleased to announce the opening of the new store that will bring our brand closer to the M&S community in Timisoara. We are glad that we can meet the needs of stylistic diversity of customers in this area of the country and, especially, that Timisoara is the place where the first new M&S store in Romania is opened, since the takeover of the franchise by Voici La Mode. We also thank the partners from Iulius Town for their support.” said Evie Filissiadi, General Manager Marks & Spencer Romania.

The autumn-winter 2019/2020 collection, already available in the M&S store in Timisoara, is carefully curated so that the pieces complement each other, promoting the versatility, inclusion and mirroring of how the modern woman builds her wardrobe. Autumn and winter are a celebration of classic design with a contemporary twist. The restrained M&S style, sober but rich in details, emphasizes the matching of the materials and the impeccable finishes, as the quality always dictates the aesthetics of the traditional British brand. From wool and denim, to leather and silk, the color palette is at the base of the journey from one season to another: from the dark brown, rust and tuna colors to the shades of magenta and blue, which bring modernity and air fresh season pieces.

Customers from Timișoara were greeted with many offers and surprises. The first 100 customers who entered the store on opening day received a free gift voucher of 100 lei, and all customers who purchased products from the store on the opening weekend had a 20% discount. Discounts continue with a 20% discount offer on jeans until October 6th.

Marks & Spencer has been present on the Romanian market since 2000, and starting from September 2017 it operates in the franchise system through Voici La Mode Group, which has taken over 3 Marks & Spencer stores in: Baneasa Shopping City, Plaza Romania and Bucharest Mall. Voici la Mode intends to further expand its network of stores and implicitly to open new stores in premium locations, strengthening the presence of the British brand on the Romanian market.
